We’re off to see the Wizard…

The wonderful Wizard of Oz!

I had so much fun working on this Wizard of Oz party for my niece. I knew blue gingham would have to be involved, along with red glitter! :) And lots of color… We’re going over the rainbow, right?? :)

For the dessert table, used colors tissue paper fans to create our rainbow. I had a poster printed with the lyrics from Somewhere over the rainbow. You can get these poster prints from Office Depot for $12… great price to help with the wow factor! We had cupcakes, marshmallow pops, lemon drop cupcakes, Dorothy’s picnic lunch for all the kids, Rainbow juice, and lollipops.

I designed a fold over label for the animal crackers… Lions and Tigers and Bears OH MY!

Mini candy bar wrappers are a fun way to make sweet treats coordinate with the table decor. I embellished the birthday girls cupcake topper with a little crepe paper to make it special for her! :)

I LOVE watching kids open their presents… they get so excited!

We had a Wizard of Oz book for all the guests to sign… great way to document birthday memories!

Sunflowers are from the dollar store and stuck in tin cans with crinkle paper… cute and really cheap!
